Our Spring Production of The Last Provost by A. B. Paterson was a box office success encouraging us to go on with something rather different for the Autumn. 84 Charing Cross Road tells the story of the celebrated literary love affair between a hard-up New York writer, Helen Hanff and the now departed antiquarian bookshop, Marks and Co. in London.
